The AIF-9V (V-9) Ghost is a drone fighter seen in the Macross Frontier television series.
Development[]
Deployed by the Macross Galaxy fleet under the alias V-9, the AIF-9V Ghost is the main unmanned aerial vehicle of the 21st Super-Long Distance Emigrant Fleet. The AIF-9V Ghost follows the form where the Ghost X-9 development was discontinued. The AIF-9V Ghost has high performance for craft of the same era (2050s) and serves as a proof-of-technology aircraft. The New United Nations Spacy has not formally recognized this unit for deployment.
