The Aerial Knights (空中騎士団 Kūchū Kishi-Dan) are a Variable Fighter unit of the Windermere Kingdom as seen in the Macross Δ television series and its theatrical adaptation, Macross Δ Movie: Passionate Walküre.

History

Considered as Windermere's elite group of Variable Fighter pilots, the Aerial Knights are trained in various forms of combat. Senior knights act as "masters" to the younger ones, with the instructional sessions oftentimes done during real-time sorties.

The knight that serves as the best example to the others in both skill and demeanor is given the title "White Knight Of Derwent" and traditionally assigned a silver fighter as a leader unit.
