Personality & CharacterEdit
Driven by vengeance for the family that he lost after the war of independence, Bogue shows complete and total aggression towards humanity, always the first one to rush into the fray when out on a sortie. His anger often gets the better of him and his rune invariably acts up in the process. He enjoys lunging forward in his cockpit and engaging in a spinning attack at his enemies while screaming "Die Walküre!"
Though he (begrudgingly) follows orders and observes proper discipline as befitting his role as a knight, The only person that he truly respects is Hermann Kroos, whom he calls "Master Hermann".
His hatred towards Walküre is second to none, as demonstrated when Freyja Wion sang GIRAFFE BLUES for the lives lost during the Windermerian war of independence, and Bogue comes out of nowhere to attack her and Delta Flight. However, as the war progresses, he develops a fondness for Reina Prowler. He starts to have conflicting feelings with the young hacker, and by the end, he has a change of heart and saves her and her dear friend, Makina Nakajima, from the forces of Roid Brehm.
- Hermann Kroos
- Master and Student. Hermann insists that Bogue has already become a full-fledged knight and should drop the term when addressing him but Bogue refuses, since the former will always be his master. From time to time, Bogue will attempt to attack his unarmed master with a sword, but does not really intend to kill him. Bogue believes that he can only become a real knight if he can corner Hermann this way, but he has not been successful so far.
- Reina Prowler
- Bogue finds her intriguing. In the end, he goes from hating Walküre to wanting to protect her and Makina Nakajima.
Notes & TriviaEdit
- In Delta Mini-Theater, Bogue is not as hot-headed as he was in the main series, though his temper does flare up when discussing Walküre with Theo and Xao Jussila.
