Chitose Ripple (千歳リップル Chitose Rippuru) is a character from the Macross 7 television series and the spinoff manga Mylene Beat. She is the lead singer of the Jamming Birds.
History[]
During the auditions for the Jamming Birds, Chitose entered and was asked some very pointed and personal questions by by Dr. Gadget M. Chiba. When asked whether she was ever in love, she replied that she had "no experience" in such matters.
She managed to pass and was made the lead singer of the Jamming Birds. Unfortunately, she had difficulty singing in the battlefield as she lacked combat experience, even after going through several training exercises. She would return to the battlefield much later, during the final battle against Geperuniti where she fared better in the face of battle.
