Emerald Force

Emerald Force (エメラルドフォース, Emerarudo Fōsu), abbreviated as E Force, is an elite variable fighter squadron introduced in the Macross 7 television series.

History[]

Emerald Force is the 37th Long Distance Colony Fleet's latest elite squadron led by Captain Docker, following the temporary suspension of Diamond Force. Members utilized the VF-19F Excalibur, the most advanced variable fighter of its time.

Docker piloted the VF-19S Excalibur as he ranked captain, while members Ordeck Stalein and Matthews were given the general-purpose F-type. Both members were killed during "Operation Stargazer". New recruits would replenish the squadron's ranks, but during the final assault against the Protodeviln, many members were killed in action.
