Lucy McMillan (ルーシー・マクミラン Rūshī Makumiran) is a minor character in the Macross Plus OVA and its theatrical adaptation, Macross Plus Movie Edition. She is a researcher for Shinsei Industries assigned to the YF-19 project under Project Super Nova.
History[]
As a researcher for the YF-19 project at the New Edwards Flight Center in Eden, Lucy initially was put off by the roguish Isamu Alva Dyson but relents to going out with him after he asks her out for a date. She warms up to his boyish charms after they go out on several dates, accompanying him even to a Sharon Apple concert. She unwittingly gets entangled in the bitter love triangle between Isamu and former friends Myung Fang Lone and Guld Goa Bowman. In the end, she reluctantly relinquishes her hopes for a romantic relationship with Isamu.

- She has a brief fling with Isamu where she tries to support him both at work and in private as his rivalry builds up between Guld Goa Bowman. She realizes he's more trouble than he's worth in the end. In the Plus movie, new scenes are added where the couple are physically intimate.

- Her colleague at the YF-19 project. She finds him a little odd, but he seems to be respectful enough towards her.
