Moruk Lap Lamiz (モルク・ラプラミズ), often referred to as Lap Lamiz, is one of the antagonists of the Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series and The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? movie. She is a soldier and a commander of the Laplamiz Meltlandi fleet.

Personality & Character[]

She was one of the fleet commanders under Golg Boddole Zer, who decided to defect following his defeat in Space War I. She placed great trust towards her subordinate, ace pilot Milia Fallyna Jenius. She is a typical Zentradi warrior who could not cope with living on Earth during peace time. She settled in with Quamzin Kravshera and the two indulged in culture in a haphazard way. She put up with Quamzin's violent temper and supported him in his final assault against the SDF-1 Macross.

None of these traits are present in her counterpart in the film The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?. She is instead part of the fleet flagship, the Meltlandi Laplamiz-Class Mobile Fortress.

History[]

Space War I[]

A young warrior known for her intransigence and command skills, she was in charge of special missions by Boddole Zer. She compensated for her lack of experience by great fervor and confidence in the women who served her.

When Golg Boddole Zer decided to send spies to the SDF-1 Macross, she sent Milia Fallyna Jenius to transport the spies. She also participated in various missions against the Macross, encountering problems with Quamzin Kravshera who did not respect the orders. She was shocked when Milia (her best pilot) volunteered to spy Macross. During the battle against Boddole Zer's main fleet, she accepted Vrlitwhai Kridanik's proposal to side with humans, her fleet having been already "contaminated" by culture.

After the battle she joined Quamzin, with whom he developed a romantic relationship, to form a Zentradi rebellion against the new order.

Lap Lamiz died in January 2012, during a suicide attack on the SDF-01, in the center of Macross City. The ramming attack of her ship caused significant damage, but wasn't sufficient to destroy the Macross. Both she and Quamzin are assumed to have died in the collision.[1]
