Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs bis Class (ネオノプティ・バガニス bis) is a Medium-Scale Fleet Command Battleship used by 35th Long Distance Emigration Fleet. It appears in the television series Macross 7.
Development[]
The Nupetiet-Vergnitzs Class Fleet Command Battleship was a distinguished vessel in the UNG military post-Space War I. Britai Kridanik, formerly commander of the Zentradi's Adoclass Fleet, had become a high ranking member in the UNG military and his ship had been officially christened as the first battleship of the New UN Forces in December 2012. The Nupetiet-Vergnitzs class, following a minor refit in 2012, underwent a complete refit and redesign with additional Earth technology. The class was designated the Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs bis Class and the hull was completely rebuilt to bring the ship in line with the new motif of the modern UNG fleet.[1]
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs bis Class is a new ship class based on the redesigned Nupetiet-Vergnitzs-class (2012 Refit) with additional Earth technology. Its overall hull design is near identical to its predecessor, but it was modified with two bridges ontop of its hull, comprised of main bridge on the front, and sub-bridge on the rear side. It also had improved engine with additional thruster nozzle, and additional antenna fins mounted at the ventral hull. Thanks to that, it retains the predecessor's durability, but improved its overall operability to the level of other UN Spacy ships.[1]

History[]
In the 2030s, the several Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs bis Class ship was assigned as escort unit for UN Spacy's 35th Long-Distance Emigration Fleet, accompanied by three Macross 5 type ship, several Three Star Factory Ships, many Uraga-class and Northampton Class (Zentradi Type).[2]
Later In early September 2045 the these Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs bis Class ships landed upon the habitable planet Lux and began initial preparations for colonization. Unfortunately sometime in September 2045, these ships was destroyed by Protodeviln, just before the arrival of Macross 7 Fleet.[3]
