Pipré (エデン Pipure) is a planet featured in the manga Macross Δ Gaiden: Macross E.
Overview[]
Pipré is a recently colonized frontier world, located in the Brisingr Globular Cluster. It is unique in that the speed of the planet's rotation around the sun matches its rotation on its own axis, resulting in one side always facing the sun.
The planet is divided into three zones, namely Cold, Temperate and Hot. A flying gargantuan, indigenous creatures known as the "Una-mushi" have recently been encroaching human habitation in the temperate zones due to a mysterious disease known as the Vár Syndrome.
History[]
On A.D. 2062, the planet is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary of being colonized by the emmigrant fleet led by the ultra-long distance colony ship, the Macross Extra. An interstellar private conglomerate known as Chaos has been placed in charge of the planet's security, and its local affiliate, Pipré Branch has deployed Echo Flight to patrol the skies to keep watch in case of incursion by the local fauna.

Temperate Zone[]
Colonized part of the planet. Human habitation exists here, along with the Macross Extra which sits imposingly on the city. Local idol music group Thrones is popular here.
Hot Zone[]
Defined by a large crater. Area is known to be bathed in hot, scorching heat.
