The SDF-2 Megaroad-01 (SDF-2 メガロウド-01) is the first ship of Megaroad-class used by UN Spacy as part of their 1st Long Distance Emigration Fleet. This particular ship first featured in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012 and later featured in movie Macross Δ Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!.

History[]
After the devastation of Earth caused by Zentradi Bodolza's Fleet during Space War I, in A.D 2010s UN Spacy launched the Humanity Seeding Project. In order to achieve said objective, they decided to convert under construction SDF-2 Megaroad into a ship that is capable of housing large amount of population inside its hull, resulted a ship class known as Megaroad-class, and Megaroad 01 is the first ship of the class. [1]
Later in A.D 2012 the Megaroad-01 was launched from Macross city as part of the 1st Long Distance Emigration Fleet, captained by Misa Hayase. This particular ship was famously known to carry the legendary singer Lynn Minmay, and escorted by Hikaru Ichijyo, led Skull Squadron comprised of VF-4 Lightning IIIs.[2]
In July 2016, barely four years into its voyage toward the center of the Milky Way, all contact with the Megaroad-01 and its fleet were list. This information was never made known to the general public for fear it would jeopardize all ongoing and subsequent colonization efforts.[1]
However in A.D 2068 the Megaroad would later reappeared on a Fold Portal above Planet Windermere, and it was revealed that Lady M was someone originated from Megaroad-01 and answer the Ship's and fleet dissapearance since A.D 2016.[3] This particular ship was lured by the organization Heimdall who took control of the Protoculture ruins in several planets and planning to destroy it using Battle Astrea. Fortunately the Megaroad-01 destruction was averted by the effort of combined fleet comprised of Chaos, NUNS space fleet, Delta Flight, Walküre, led by Maximilian Jenius in his Macross Gigasion and 2 Macross Elysion-class.[3] After the battle, the Fold Portal was closed and Megaroad-01 fate is unknown.

- Berger Stone from Macross Δ has claimed to have seen the SDF-2 Megaroad-01, as well as getting some rumors that Chaos intercepted a transmission from it at the closing moments of the Vajra War.
