Valgo (バルゴ, Barugo) is one of the antagonists in the Macross 7 television series. He is Protodeviln who serves under Lord Geperuniti.

Valgo is a massive Protodeviln, standing at 17 meters and weighing 7 metric tons. He has large antennae that extends from his head like a cloak, all the way to his shoulders.

At first glance, he has an appearance similar to a Human, but when taunting his enemies and laughing, his mask-like jaw splits into three. A large number of creatures known as "Usamu" are released from a mouth on his chest that are used to absorb Spiritia and defense. Additionally, he possesses a space transfer ability and the ability to sense an enemy's movement. He is capable of completely stopping a fold system through a large ranged energy field.

Personality & Character

He is faithful to Lord Geperuniti orders, but does not get along with Gavil.

History

He is awakened by Lord Geperuniti in October 2045. By December of the same year, he managed to obstruct a space fold by the Macross 7 fleet. He was swallowed into Gigile's void space and presumed dead.
