Yami_Q_Ray (ヤミキューレ) are a faction introduced in the Macross Δ Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!. They are virturoids cloned by the Siren Delta System within Battle Astrea from the Walkure through their singing and their past recordings. They further enhance both Battle Astrea and Sv-303 Vivasvat, and also summon protoculture ruins to amplify their power and control every single race throughout galaxies.

History[]
Dark Mikumo first appeared alongside the rest of Heimdall in the Battle Astrea, performing a solo act. The contributions of Walküre were able to counteract Mikumo's doppelganger, but repeated encounters allowed data on Walküre's singers to be gathered, and virturoids reflecting the other four members of Walküre were created.
While Yami_Q_Ray was able to push back Walküre during the final battle over Windermere IV, when Freyja Wion joined the other four members of the tactical music group on stage, the members of Yami_Q_Ray hesitated, and were eventually moved to sing along with Walküre.
While all members of Yami_Q_Ray were apparently rendered defunct with the destruction of Battle Astrea, Hayate Immelmann was able to recover a baby resembling Dark Freyja from the wreckage, having apparently been grown on the ship.
